How to apply for Croatia's EV grant
Applications go through the eFZOEU system and start on 28 October 2026 at 9:00.
How to submit
Submission of applications starts on 28 October 2026 at 9:00. Applications are submitted only electronically through the eFZOEU system, using NIAS credentials of substantial assurance level, and are processed in order of receipt. The call lasts until the end of the calendar year or until the funds are used up, whichever comes first.
- Enter the basic data.
- Upload the documentation.
- Submit the application.
You can change and supplement the application until the submission step. After you submit it, it cannot be changed or supplemented, and a new application for the same applicant cannot be submitted. You can apply yourself or through an authorised person, who must upload a special power of attorney certified by a notary.
After you submit, the system automatically generates a confirmation of application that shows the data you entered, the names and sizes of the uploaded documents, and the date and time of submission. You can withdraw the application during the call, at the latest until the decision on selection and award is made.
Documents
- Application form (Annex 1 to the call, in .xlsx format)
- Residence certificate not older than 30 days
- Applicant's signed statement (Annex 2 to the call)
- Informative offer showing the price in euro, manufacturer, model, drive type and category of the vehicle
- Notarised special power of attorney, where someone applies on your behalf
If the characteristics of the vehicle are not stated in the offer, they can be expressed by a catalogue, a certificate or an equivalent document. A special power of attorney issued to a lawyer does not need to be notarised.
Language and format
Documentation is prepared in Croatian and in Latin script. Documentation issued in a foreign language must be translated into Croatian and certified by a court interpreter. All documents except the form are submitted as PDF.
The Fund may ask for additional documentation as needed. If its check finds deficiencies that prevent processing the application, the Fund rejects it as incomplete.
Payment claim
For the payout the beneficiary sends the Fund a payment claim with complete and correct documentation by e-mail, at the latest by 30 April 2028. The documentation must contain:
